CD’s of young musicians in CroatiaThe promotion and support of young Croatian musicians is an issue of greatest concern to Erste Bank in Croatia. We believe that music is one of the most important expressions of a country´s cultural identity and have therefore developed a cooperation with two renowned Croatian CD labels and productin houses, "Aquarius Records” and “Dancing Bear” several years ago. Which CDs have been issued so far with the support of Erste Bank?Classical performance of Ino Mirkovic´ and his students – one of the leading violinists in Croatia. Group “Putokazi” with a very unusual content for the Croatian music audience due to the modern ethno sound of this young group from Rijeka. CD of the popular Croatian pop group “Jinx” which became a great success and was accepted with excellence in Croatia. Group “Bambi Molesters” with a more modern sound and performance of Gabi Novak, one of the most established singers in Croatia. The latest project consists of CD’s with jazz and classical music of the young group “Musica Viva”. The Bank committed itself to support classical and jazz music on the last CD due to the fact that, in commercial way, these kinds of music are most severely “threatened” and therefore in need of greatest support.
